Before arrival please read the below guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit to The Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa in Newquay.
CHECK IN | Head to our app for pre-check in details (have your email address and booking reference handy.)
HOUSEHOLDS | Please note it is now against the law to travel with people from outside your household or support bubble. You may be asked to prove you are from the same household on arrival at the hotel.
DINING AND BAR CLOSURES | Please note that the Bay Bar and Dune Restaurant will shut at 10pm from Thursday 24th September 2020, daily. Guests will be unable to lounge in these areas after this time.
FACE COVERINGS | From 8th August 2020 it is a legal requirement to wear a mask / face covering in public areas of the hotel and spa (other than where necessary to remove for treatments.) Please note that when table service is in operation when dining, masks are not required. For theirs and your safety, our staff members will be wearing a face covering.
CASH | Unfortunately cash payments are prohibited throughout the hotel, contactless and card payments are to be used, or please contact us to set up a direct debit option.
DINING | Breakfast, lunch and dinner times must be pre-booked before dining. This can be done through the app or before arrival through our reservations team. If you'd prefer a breakfast hamper, these will be available to order the night before from reception and will be delivered to your room. Room service will also be available (charges apply.) All our menus can be found on our app.
TABLE RESERVATIONS | Please note that tables in Dune Restaurant and the Bay Bar can be booked for a maximum of six persons per table.
SANITATION | Throughout the hotel you will find sanitiser and hand washing facilities, please remember to wash your hands regularly throughout your stay.
SOCIAL DISTANCING | In line with the government guidelines, please remain a minimum of 2m plus away from other guests. Only you and people from your "bubble" to enter the lift at the same time; please use the stairs where possible
REST ROOMS | Please use your room toilet where possible instead of public toilets.
RECEPTION | Call or message before going to reception. Dial "0" from your in-room phone, or head to the live chat on our app.
TABLE SERVICE | Our bars will operate on table service only, please don’t approach the bar - we'll come to you!
HOUSEKEEPING | You'll have the option to opt out of daily housekeeping.
FACILITY CLOSURE | Heat experiences will remain closed until we have further guidance from the government. There will be restrictions to the number of people allowed in the pool at one time and hot tubs will be limited to use within your "bubble" only.
SUSPECTED CASES | If a guest is displaying signs of the COVID-19 virus while staying in overnight accommodation for a permitted reason, they should inform the accommodation provider, immediately self-isolate where they are to minimise any risk of transmission, and request a test. If they are confirmed to have COVID-19, they should return home if they reasonably can. They should use private transport but only drive themselves if they can do so safely. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority.
Guests should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. Once the guest (and if appropriate their family) has finished the required self-isolation period and is no longer symptomatic, they should return to their main residence and continue to follow the government guidance on self-isolation, household isolation and social distancing.
